Steve Cole (6-0) pitched five innings, hit a double and had 2 RBI en route to his league leading sixth win of the season. The Dodos scored nine runs in the second inning on six hits, highlighted by Jarrod Butter's bases-clearing triple. Jarrod had a season-high 4 RBI while going 2-3.
The Dodos added eight more runs in the fourth inning, capped off with Shane Shoemaker's first home run of the season, a two-run shot to left-center.
An error by second baseman, Tony Ross, would lead to three unearned runs in the bottom of the fourth, but the Dodos offense would counter with four more runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Shoemaker pitched a scoreless sixth to end the game with a 22-10 mercy-rule.
